Is it normal for a newborn to not poop for a couple of days?
Ive read that eventually newborns can go a few days without pooping. Is this true? DS is 8 weeks and hasnt pooped in 2 days...he doesnt seem to be in any pain or anything. How would you know a baby is constipated?

my ds would sometimes go 4 days without pooping

DS wasn't pooping for several days but he was in a lot of pain. As long as your DS doesn't seem to be in pain, i think he's ok.

DD pooped every 8-10 days when she w EBF. Totally fine.

If he was constipated, his poops would be rabbit like - tiny round balls.
