My feet def started swelling pretty early on if i was on them a lot etc. But if u have a history, maybe run it by your ob just for peace of mind.

Re: swollen feet
I didn't notice it that early but my friend did when she was 13 weeks, only if she stood or walked for a long time. I'm 25 weeks and just noticed on Fri that my feet -especially R one- were really swollen . Plannng on calling my dr on mon since I have some heart issues and am also at risk of clots , want to make sure all is well. Didn't have swallen feet till I was 30+ weeks with my DD

Re: swollen feet
Last weekend I went to an event and was on my feet in heels from 2pm till 9:30. By the end of the night I couldn't walk, I had to take off my shoes to drive and I practically limped I. The house. They were swollen and hurt but felt better the next day I was 16 weeks then

Re: swollen feet
I'm 20 weeks along and I've had it since 12 weeks but I work on my feet all day (7 to 9 hours no sitting at all),...when I get home and rest they are usually better by the end of the night...I was told as long as the swelling goes down after resting its ok....but I would run it by your doctor just for peace of mind

Re: swollen feet
Watch what you eat. I found out early in pregnancy that I need to check my sodium intake. I totally didn't realize and had soup with like 800 mg of sodium. That's what did me in early after that I just drank a lot of water. I really didn't start swelling until I was like in my weeks 32.
Oh and elevate those feet.

Re: swollen feet
chances are you wouldn't have a clot in both legs but there's always a chance. Pain, reddness, warmth and swelling are also other signs of clots. Don't forget it's getting warm out so you will be swelling more than usual! Hope everything is ok. Get yourself checked out for piece of mind.

Re: swollen feet
since its getting warmer i noticed that my hands and feet are starting to swell. My friend who is a pharmacist recommended getting compression socks, not sure if it would help with the swell but if you're prone to clots you might want to look in to those socks and stockings

Re: swollen feet
I didn't start swelling until the weather got warm recently..but I think being on your feet is a big part of it. Drink water & elevate your tootsies! And def tell your doc if it persists or you are concerned.

Re: swollen feet
I have had DVT's too (I am on Blood Thinners this pregnancy) and my feet did swell maybe 16+ weeks when I was on them all day and probably didn't drink the water like I should have ~ I felt better the next day and the swelling went down. Call your dr if you are nervous or swelling doesn't go down.
Drink Lots of water, watch your sodium and put your feet up mama!
