should I borrow a bassinett?
I really wanted all new BUT ive been hearing that the baby outgrows the basinett in 6 weeks. My friend offered me hers until the nursery is finished. What would you do?

I would. Just purchase a new mattress and bedding for it.

Re: should I borrow a bassinett?
I would have no problem borrowing a bassinet, however, no one offered! They aren't really that expensive if you really wanted new or if you plan on having more children and have space to store it. We got the kolcraft one, it has music and vibrates, it was a gift but it was around $75.00.

Absolutely borrow. I am thinking of putting the one we have up on Craig's list.

Re: should I borrow a bassinett?
We have one and DS was in it for 3 months. It was something I registered for so I received it as a gift. If someone would have offered it to me I would barrowed it.

Re: should I borrow a bassinett?
I know we are going to borrow, but it is a special case. DH's cousin has the bassinet that DH, his brother, his two cousins and then his cousins 3 kids all slept in. So it is kinda become an heirloom in his family that is passed down.
Either way, one less thing to buy!

Re: should I borrow a bassinett?
I borrowed mine from my SIL. My niece hardly slept in it because she didn't like it so in case my baby doesn't care for it either it saves me lots of $$
