Haircut by a friend

My girlfriend has been giving me a haircut for about a yr. I really don't like how she cuts it, but I am afraid if I tell her, it will ruin our friendship..My husband says if you are paying for it(which I am) and if your not happy go some where else.
Needless to say I am going on Tuesday?
Am I making the right decison by going some where else??? TIA:

Have you tried bringing her a picture of what you want? Maybe say you want to try something different, and emphasize what you don't like about how she's cutting it (without saying you don't like it of course, just saying you want a "change")? I'd probably give her one last shot to impress me and if it didn't go over I'd definitely move on to someone else. You don't have to have hair you're less than thrilled with just becuase you happen to be friends with a hairdresser, imo. I'd try not to hurt her feelings but I'd go elsewhere.

switch to someone else. DH and I went to a friend for too long and it was not worth it.

just tell her you got a gift certificate for xyz salon and dont want it to go to waste.

cancel it and go somewhere else.

Thank you ladies, got my haircut somewhere else and I love it Will tell her that I got a gc and had to use it...great advice....
