Question?
For those that went off BCP did you notice AF was different once you went off the pill? I have been on the pill for 11 years and on the pill AF lasted 5-7 days and were 28-30 days apart. Since I went off the pill in April and my last two cycles lasted only 3 days and are 26 days apart.

Re: Question?
The pill keeps you at 28-30 days apart b/c of how many active pills you're taking.
When you go off bcp, your AF should return to what it was pre-pills.

Re: Question?
BCPs are hormones, which regulate your cycle. They make it so you do not ovulate and once you start taking the placebos with no hormones you get your period.
My cycles on BCPs are 28 days. My cycles off BCPs are 28-30 days.

Same.. I have been 28-30 days since getting off and I was on them for 6+ years. I remember my flow was heavier and lasted 3 days for a few cycles and then evened out to 5.
