Another LI Hotel Question....Anyone know of a 2 BEDROOM hotel?
Someone recs the TownePlace Suites Republic Airport Long Island/Farmingdale, & they do have a 2 bedroom option, but the reviews I don't like.
Somewhere centrally located is preferred.
Any other recs. Or of a hotel that has large rooms & can be divided.
A week with a 4yo & 22mo,,,,you start to need some space!

What about the Residence Inns by Marriott? I don't know if they have 2 bedrooms, but they are large apartment-style suites with separate living and kitchen areas. I think there is one in Hauppauge, and 1 in Holtsville. Not sure if there are others on the island.

I was hoping for the Nassau Suffolk border, only because I know we plan to hit NYC, aquarium (coney island), maybe Bronx zoo. Then visit family & friends on LI.

The reviews seem much better for them. Even their regular suite seems big. The 2 bedroom is really $$$ for a week.

Can you get two rooms at a regular hotel that connect? That might be cheaper.

I'm not sure if it would be much cheaper...rooms are around $180+ a night, so do a double & it's just as much.
It's SO hard to spend $1500+ just on the hotel when we want to visit NY. Lord knows we are going to drop another $1k on food & activities easily too.
Plus the 9-10th drive. UGG.....I could fly somewhere to do a beach rental in NC or SC for that money & relax the whole week!
So upsetting, because we've only been up once in the 5years living down here in NC.

We've stayed at the fox hollow inn a few times. I also stayed at the residence inn in plainview before my wedding.

Check out the Viana hotel in Westbury.
They have one bedroom suites, that have a separate living area with pull out couch- the room is huge and gorgeous. It's a little on the expensive side, but you will have a ton of space!

Not sure if this is too far out for you...but my friends and I are staying at the Resort Condos in Greenport for a few days, and our suite has two bedrooms.

I love greenport, but might be far (with 2 kids) for the trips into the city. But I'll look into it.
ETA: yikes, even more at $440/night.
