How soon after your period is over do you begin OPK?
This is my first month using them. According to the First Response website I should start the 11th day of my cycle... I thought I read that you should start using OPK's the day after your period end...any clarity would be great.

how long are your cycles?
mine were typically 33 days and I usually O on CD19. I started testing CD15.

28 days
The day you got your period is Day 1...I would start testing on Day 10, between 11am-2pm NOT your first mornings urine.
Use CLEAR BLUE EASY ...the day you get your  have  that night and the 4 nights following.
indicated an LH surge and that you WILL be OVULATING WITHIN the next 24-36hrs.

i agree! I would start testing CD10, thinking you get a postive CD14. If it were me, this would be my BD schedule
CD12, CD13, CD15, CD16 - this worked for us this past cycle (this is assuming you actually O on CD14.) If you get a positive on CD14, you might not actually O until CD15 or CD16, keep that in mind.

I am 28 days and usually use my OPK starting at day 8 and I check mid day. Just started it 2 months ago.

What is FMU??
My RE said that ONCE A DAY no more then once a day to OPK should be taken on 2nd urine of the day between 11am-2pm. I was CRAZY and took an OPK starting CD10 at 11:30am and 11:30pm. Had every day from CD13 until 2 days after I "O" on CD 15... until the CD17...
BTW, SEX SUCKS when you focus on this...I suggest telling you DH, when he gets home from work if there is a candle lit on the table that means its night ... if you tell him your ovulating the pressure is on...LOL
