PCOS and Gynos!
I'm not TTC yet but will be in the next year or so and I'm looking for ladies who have PCOS and their gynecologists are good! I've been to several now and no one seems to be very knowledgable. I plan on seeing a RE when we're ready but I'd like to get in with a gyno now who knows what they're doing since I have not hit anyone so far who is all that great. (I wish it was just PCOS but I also have a clotting disorder too so I definitely need someone who is understanding and helpful!)
TIA for any advice!

Personally, in your situation, I'd see any gyno who you like. They can do paps and deliver your baby. But, to get your pregnant, you'll really have to see an RE who can treat your PCOS and clotting disorder.

yeah, I agree to GET you pregnant, I would go see an RE. I have PCOS and my RE told me to get all of my blood testing done through the gnyo because most insurance companies cover b/w and sonos billed under gyno.
In order to actually get pregnant (in my case anyways) my RE would be the one to help me with that.

Re: PCOS and Gynos!
I have PCOS and clotting issues (although didn't know about the clotting issues at the start of all this... ) and right off the bat I saw Dr.Braverman in Woodbury.

Re: PCOS and Gynos!
Thanks! I'll definitely be seeing a RE when we're ready.. I was just hoping to find a gyno who had an idea of PCOS. The three I've seen don't have anything to say regarding it other than "take BC, it'll help with everything".. and that's not longer an option haha. Thanks for your help though ladies!

Obgyn will help you manage your symptoms, get your period but you need an re to get pg. I'd bypass the obgyn to ttc.
