Poison Ivy
The guy who cuts our lawn informed DH today that we have poison ivy growing along the back of our fence.
It's actually coming from behind the fence and it's coming in through the gaps between each plank. The property on the other side of our fence doesn't belong to any house so I assume it's part of the town (Brookhaven). Is there someone in the town we can call? How do we get rid of it?I

Re: Poison Ivy
I've been using this around my yard, and it's very effective. http://www.scotts.com/smg/brand/roundup/stoppoisonivy/index.jsp
Just spray, and in a couple of days, the entire plant is killed. You still need to be careful getting rid of the dead plant, since the fluid is still in the plant, but it will definitely keep it from growing, and growing back if you cut it.
