Recommend your comfy but supportive flip flop/sandal
Last summer I wore nike flip flops and ended up getting a stress fracture in my foot b/c of it. Are there any flip flops/sandals that are actually good for your feet? I put on my nike ones today and my foot started hurting :( They were super comfy too!

Re: Recommend your comfy but supportive flip flop/sandal
I am obsessed with Orthaheel flip flops. They literally saved my feet. I had developed a heel spur and plantar faciitis from wearing flats and I bought a pair of these and wore them all summer. I have no more issues and have like 4 pairs now. Awesome! Expensive but worth it. I hated them for a few days, seemed really uncomfortable because there is so much arch support but I got used to it and cant even feel it.

Clarks that I bought at Macy's...they feel like sneakers to me. I need good foot support or my knees kill me. Bought a pair last summer & wore them all the time. I waited til they were on sale & used a coupon.

I bought Orthaheel flip flops last year & I do not like them at all. I was very disappointed with them. I'm still on the hunt for new ones.

I buy them online at: http://www.soleprovisionsshop.com/Articles.asp?ID=151
Always quick easy delivery & free returns. I LOVE the Tide, Carla & Wave flip flops. I bought a pair of the dressier ones and didn't like them.

Any Reef brand flip flops are insanely comfortable.
I like the Fanning (also has a beer bottle opener on the bottom). they are really supportive.
And I recently bought Reef Dreams (pictured below) which are heavenly.

My sister bought hers at a surf shop in Long Beach and there is a store in Babylon Village that sells them too.

Fit Flops!
Agreed. I have flat feet, and cannot wear regular flip flops. I have had my Fit Flops for the past 3 years, and live in the all summer. I have black, silver, and brown sequined pairs, and they go with everything. I can walk around for hours in them and still be comfortable.
