Improving Male Fertility
As I have stated before, we are dealing with MFI. My DH had cancer several years ago and we used frozen sperm for IVF #1. When he had his SA in September, he had sperm present, but on the day of ER, there was no sperm  . Luckily, we have frozen sperm, but it is not the best quality.
So my question is - are there any supplements, vitamins, foods, etc that he should take to (hopefully) improve his sperm count. He can obviously produce sperm because in September, he had some. Our next go at IVF is going to be in July - so I would like to get him started ASAP.

her name is christina and she did tons and tons of research and had her dh on all sorts of herbs and vitamins but his numbers improved so much and she ended up getting pg the old fashioned way!
she just had a gorgeous baby boy named gio
i will see if i can find it...think it was on the ttc board
but bear with me i am a dope when it comes to looking up posts lol

I had notebooked it too! 
I put DH on a similar vitamin regamin, though not as intense as Christina did. DH has borderline low morphology and i'll make him take whatever helps!

My doctor recommended Vit C and Proxeed for DH. So far I have only been able to find Proxeed online.

After DH had a vasectomy reversal, the doctor gave him a list of vitamins that he was to take daily. We saw an insane improvement in his semen between the first and 2nd analysis. Granted, that could have been due to the time lapse, but we swear by it. I can post the list when I get home from work if you're still looking for info.

Thanks everyone!
No, my DH is not seeing a urologist. At this point, the fact that he may be able to produce any sperm is pretty much a miracle because of the chemotherapy he had. Many people never produce any sperm again. His SA in September was not good numbers wise, but I figured if vitamins could improve that even just a little, I would be willing to spend the money on them. On our first go at IVF, we had to use frozen sperm since his SA showed no sperm.

Piggybacking on the previous question-- did his SA improve because of the vitamins? I have looked up so many things that say morphology cannot improve based on vitamins which obviously wasn't true for Mrs. Devito's dh

The vitamins were the only thing that we changed aside from him drinking lots more water so yes I 100 percent believe it was the vitamins.i feel like there isn't much support of them by doctors because then less people would need expensive fertility treatments. I should also add we tried ivf before using the supplements and it failed. Good luck!
