long dress for a wedding?
I'm going to a Saturday night wedding in June - is it too much to wear a long dress? Do most people wear short ones these days? Can you tell I haven't been to a LI wedding in a long time?

While I do think short dresses are seen more often on guests at weddings, if you have a long dress you want to wear, go for it! As far as being appropriate, I don't think the length matters as much as how dressy it is. A Saturday evening wedding certainly is formal enough for a long dress!
