HPT - help needed
I tested tuesday AM (11/12 DPO) with a First Response; I got a super faint positive...so much so that I actually thought it was an evaporation line because I did read it after the time limit. after work that day I tested with a FR digital - got a yes!
Yesterday, but I was in complete disbelieve, I tested with another FR digital and a CVS brand early pregnancy test (blue dye if that matters any). The digital again said yes. the CVS brand also was positive, but was very faint; which made me very nervous.
Today, I tested again with the CVS brand. The line was there, but it was just as faint. At this point, shouldnt it be fairly dark? I dont know much about CVS brand pregnancy tests.
I also looked at the CVS test I took yesterday (it was in the garbage), the line was still there. About 30 minutes after I took today's test, the line seemed fainter than it did when I looked at in the timeframe in the directions.
I am freaking out that this is chemical. I go for bloodwork tomorrow. We've been TTC for well over a year. I dont have any pregnancy symptoms, except for being tired, but i'm taking progesterone supplements, so I know it could be from that. my boobs arent sore and I definitley dont "feel" pregnant. Of course I feel sick to my stomach now, but that's from being so upset...
does anyone have any thoughts on all of this??

It is my understanding that the digital tests are more sensitive and if it says Pregnant or Yes - or whatever it reads -- then you are pregnant!
I have never liked any of the blue dye tests -- only used them once and got an evap line --
edited to say -- there is also no misreading the digitals!!!

Re: HPT - help needed
I've always been told a line is a line and a positive is a positive I think it sounds promising that you're pregnant
Let us know how you make out at the doctors. Good luck!

Don't be alarmed they might not tell you the #'s of your first blood work -- since it really doesn't say much -- they need to see the numbers double in 48 hours!
Good luck!

I don't really have an answer-never actually had a positive test yet to know the difference. But i just wanted to say GOOD LUCK!!! It sounds like since the FRER test was dark it's a strong positive!! Hopefully the blood work can confirm! Sticky dust for you

Don't read to much into the darkness of the line. Plenty of people never get a DARK line and still have healthy pregnancies

Sounds good, but you should definitely make an appt to see your doctor so they can start monitoring your levels. Congrats and happy journey!
