landscape design?
so we just took down ALL the trees and bushes that were overgrown in front of our house (there is nothing left!)
I am starting from scratch and have no clue where to start.
We can't afford to pay 500 bucks for someone to just draw out a design.
Do local nurseries do this? We will be buying a lot of bushes and plants.

We went to Woodside Nursery in Patchogue and gave them the dimensions and pictures. The owner Pete helped us with the designs. We highly recommend this place.

Yes. I don't know where you're located but we had Cipriani Nursery in East Meadow come and do a landscape design for us for $75. If we end up using them, they apply the $75 towards the cost of the project.

This is so great to know. I was just going to post a similar question because we just took out all the trees and bushes in our front and backyards - everything was so overgrown - and I have no idea where to begin. Thanks!

we just went through this ourselves. actually all we did was take pictures and dimensions brought them to hicks nursery in westbury. they were VERY helpful. they recommended what would work best in what spot. no charge and no pressure to buy from them. but we did end purchasing a few things. they are a little expensive but they are very knowledgable and you do see things there that are different. another plus is they offer a warranty on bushes/hedges for a year.

Yes, we just did this last weekend. The lady we worked with was great, walked around with us for a long time, helped us pick everything out. They delivered everything to the house for us too and we got a 2 year warranty.
