So I did a REALLY stupid thing...
I decided to do a home brazilian wax using VEET. OMG!!! I should have been videotaped for a sitcom of What Not To Do! it was actually pretty hilarious now. then...not so much.
so first off...its sticky and messy. not so much painful, but anyone who is not used to a brazilain should never attempt this on their own. because it got so messy with the wax, it started drying and i was having a really hard time getting everything! i finally decided to stop when i got most of it. 
i will NEVER do that again!! i'll take my drive to Bay Ridge and pay the $20 for the girl to do it for me.
I will say that I tried it on my legs after and that was NO problem. so i may just do that.
just wanted to share my "seinfeld" moment.

OMG you are brave!
I can barely SHAVE my area without messing up- much less wax it.
I have waxed my legs at home though- it was a bit messy and a pain in the butt to get everything, but it wasn't too too bad.

You know, I always wondered just who the target audience is for those Brazilian Wax kits they cell at pharmacies. "Who would be CRAZY enough to something like that herself?" I always thought. I guess now I know who!  
Makes for a good story though, doesn't it? Hope you are OK!!

Is it easy to wax your legs though? I get such bad razor burn I need to do something else....

Yes I've done it in the past.
It is pretty easy but there are certain parts that are a pain in the azz because you have to reach around the back etc.
Also, my hair on my legs grows in 100 different directions and I have a TON of it- so it was time consuming.
But once you wax for awhile, the hair is definitley less!
