Prior to Closing - Contact with Lawyer(s) and Agent?
Just curious, prior to closing how much did you hear from your lawyers, bank and/or REA while you were waiting for a closing date to be confirmed??? Did you call them every few days for an update, did you just sit back and wait, did they call you?? Thanks.

Our attorney would call us on occasion if there were any updates but he was also my Uncle lol.
We didn't call him at all and then one day, we got a call saying that closing would be in 2 days.

we were in contact with our lawyer about once a week and our mortgage broker maybe 3 times the whole process and our Realtor about everyday but he is one of our very good friends

Lawyer not that much at all then they called us to say closing was in a few days
our agent (BETH) we had at least weekly contact with

We're going to close in about 3 weeks.
We speak to our realtor at least once a week and our lawyer at least once a week. We just finalized getting all the final paperwork to the bank and she was on vaca last week. She emailed us yesterday to get caught up on what's happening before she called our bank and their lawyer to get more clarity on a closing date.
We also have frequent contact with the bank.
