Selling clothes - anyone have xperience with Ebay?
I don't have anything designer, but I do have work shirts, pants and dresses that are in great condition but are just taking up room (and don't fit anymore).
I tried listing them on the buy/sell/swap threads on Facebook but only had a little success.
I really do NOT want to do Craigslist, I am not trekking out with my kids to meet strangers Plus I don't mind shipping.
Good idea or no?

I was thinking about doing this as well, but I have seen and heard from others that ebay is very saturated with womens and childrens clothing, so I figured maybe it wasn't worth it.
You could always try posting a couple things to see how they sell.

I have found that things that are J. Crew, Anthropologie, or designer jeans sell well for me. Anything else I have tried to sell has not really sold, or I would have to price it too low to be worth the trouble to make it sell.

Re: Selling clothes - anyone have xperience with Ebay?
I was actually an ebay powerseller for a while and did sell a lot of clothing. Anything without tags or non-designer should be listed in 'lots' meaning group 2 pairs of pants and three shirts of the same size and list. I find that's usually the best way to sell it, otherwise, you'll have to price each item very low and it's not worth it. Getting a value deal of multiple items is more enticing to buyers. Good Luck!

My sister and her boyfriend are also powersellers on Ebay but unfortunately have said the same thing about regular everyday stuff..........it doesn't sell well.
I already asked them because I have a lot of stuff in good condition I want to get rid of.
Like another poster mentioned, certain brands people look for, especially in the midwest and overseas.
What about doing a yard sale or consignment shop?
And you could always say on Craigslist that they must pick up in a certain location.
