selling clothes on ebay -Q
If you have sold clothes on ebay how does it work, do you do refund if the person who buys it says it doesn't fit? Also when you take pictures do you post just pictures of the items itself or do you use a "model" ? If you have any advice please do share. I think it's time I clean pout my closet

I just lay the clothes on the bed and take pics, no models.
I have never had someone say it doesn't fit. Sometimes they will email me and ask for exact measurements.

I am always looking at it, and I always see clothing being sold with no refund policy. They always list measurements, I guess that's enough.

I agree. I'd make it so that it's no refunds unless the product was not as described. And while I'm shopping online for clothes, I *always* prefer to see it on a model, so if you can take photos of yourself wearing it or someone else wearing it, I would.

Re: selling clothes on ebay -Q
I'm selling stuff on ebay - I have a no return policy but of course, if it's some weird circumstance and my fault, I will take it back. The buyer pays the shipping back to me. I have a vintage picture frame that I hang the clothing on. I make sure that I measure the items and list as much info. as I can. It's alot of fun - sometimes can be a headache if you have non-paying bidders but that's all part of it. For the most part it's been a fun experience.
Here are my current listings:

I love so many of the stuff you are selling but I am not familiar with the brands and sizing otherwise I would be bidding!

Thanks I'm away for work but when I'm back I can measure anything for you! I try to find things that I love and include stuff that's mine like the Vintage suede shorts! Should be interesting to see who grabs those! Maybe someone for Halloween :) Have no clue why I own 2 beaded coin purses.

Re: selling clothes on ebay -Q
I actually bought a plastic mannequin torso for when I sell clothes. It makes the clothes look a LOT better and gives the seller an idea of what it looks like on. It wasn't very expensive, about $40, and I feel it really helps my sales when I actually have time to list stuff.

Re: selling clothes on ebay -Q
I have a tripod and a remote for my camera so I guess I can try and take pictures of myself wearing the clothes.
Thanks ladies, I will put some stuff on there as soon as I get around to cleaning out my closet and taking pictures, measurements .
