What do you use to sweep your floors?
I've been using just a regular broom for years now but I feel like it leaves so much behind (I have all wood floors).
I've been looking into the Swiffer Sweeper and things like that but I kinda hate the idea of having to buy refills for it. Do you find that they work a lot better than a traditional broom as far as not leaving stuff behind?
Any other suggestions?

I vaccuum then use a swiffer (i buy store brand refills) to get dust.

i sweep with a broom then vacuum then swiffer wet jet every 5 days or so - sweep and vacuum every other day.
sometimes I use the Bona, sometimes I steam (maybe 2x per month)

Sweep with a regular broom, vacuum with Dyson, and mop with a regular mop and bucket. I feel like the Swiffer just moves the dirt around and doesn't really clean. I use it for spills but for regular cleaning, no.

I use the swifter sweeper vac - it picks up so much even after using a regular broom or vacuum

sweep with a regular broom and then use a dust mop (with a microfiber base). Or you could get a swiffer and use microfiber towels as refills (use and wash, no waste). costco usually has a big pack of them in the auto dept for $16ish dollars. (they're bright yellow).
if the floor's really dirty, then i use a steam mop.

I used to use the Swiffer Sweep n Vac but it was used so much that it stopped holding a charge. So I've been using a regular broom for a few years. I too felt as you did...that it left a lot behind. So I just tonight bought a new Sweep n Vac.

I vaccum, then use the swiffer wet jet each night. Once a week I use an old fashioned mop with pinesol to get a good clean.

I just got the Hoover Linx Cordless Stick Vac for my hardwood floors and kitchen and I loooooooove it!!!! It works amazing. It has a suck only function for the hardwoods and brush on options for carpet. I love it, my floors have never been so clean. I use it daily.
