after the big O.....(TMI alert!)
....do you experience spotting or bleeding? And I'm talking about the big O without penetration (omg this is such a TMI post!!  .....I started bleeding brown blood this morning, it's more than spotting and now I'm nervous but trying to remain calm since it's like a reddish brown. I am 12w1d today.....anyone else experience this after sex or after O?
I sent an email to my doctor this AM to let her know (and profess how embarrassed I was to ask her!....although I'd much rather ask via email than in person at my next visit!!)

I believe its pretty normal...but I would have emailed my doc as well....GL!

thanks for the reply, I already feel like an idiot for posting this since the spotting seems to be subsiding, I may not  again until November if this keeps up!! I can't handle any kind of spotting after miscarrying, I immediately go into panic mode!!!

i feel your pain, i'm the same way after my mc. I had spotting 2 weeks ago and ran to my OB in panic, they told me it was most likely caused by couple of nights befoer and nothing to worry about, baby was fine and so was I, I spotted 2 days and it was gone. They did tell me no for a couple of weeks, but I think couple of weeks will be the rest of my pregnancy and then god knows how long , poor DH

if you have placenta previa or something like that ....o can cause spotting.
i would call your doc and get a sono to see why you are bleeding.
i had previa and started bleeding after an o and not penetration either...adn was told no sex or o's till it went away...it did around 20 weeks thank god

Thank you!! I don't know if I have placenta previa, but I really hope this doesn't last until 20 weeks!! I emailed the doc this AM but I flagged it as "normal" instead of urgent so it might take her longer to reply, if I'm still having issues by Monday I'll call the office if I haven't received an email back.
