Yay! Finally found great doctor! Rave!

I wanted to post this since some of you my be looking for a doctor or may be looking to switch.

If you are looking for a dr in NYC, I highhhhhly recommend Dr. Bacall. He delivers at Mt. Sinai.

I don't know if any of you saw my previos posts, but my first dr was horrible. Never called me with lab results, forgot who I was, was curt with me anytime I spoke to her, etc. So I took my MIL advice and checked out her dr...and she was right!

He spent 2.5 hours with me on my visit. Never once rushed a single thing. Took me around the office and introduced me to EVERYONE in the office (doctors, office admin, nurses, techs, etc.). Answered every question I had. You can tell how knowledgeable he is and how much he loves his job. Treated me like family. Amazing bedside manner.

Not only was this the best gyno experience I've ever had- it was the best DOCTOR experience I've ever had. I recently saw that he has a cult following ( ) when I researched him...and I can see why. My MIL had him deliver my SIL (who is now mid 30's). So she's been going to him for more than 40 years!!

Anyway, if you are in the market for a new gyno/OB, I definitely recommend him. You can FM me if you want more info!
