How long would you wait for AF to come after Lap?
Ok so I had a Lap done on March 13th, my dr removed endometriosis, ovarian cysts and scar tissue and adhesions from my previous appendix surgery.
My last period was March 9th. I usually get my period anywhere from 28 days to 35 days, it always varies. The dr said he will give me Provera if AF doesn't come on her own.
I will be starting my 1st cycle of Clomid and IUI as soon as I get her, so of course I want her to come.
How many days would you wait before taking the Provera? Thanks!

If you know you have a normal cycle like you said 28-35, I would wait.
For me however, my body sometimes gets screwy from procedures, lap, d&c, etc and I actually count the bleed from those as AF. In the past, I have ovulated two weeks from my procedure date. Is that possible for you?

I agree with the PP. You're only really at 28 days now. I'd wait another week. If AF doesn't come by then, call your dr and see what s/he says.

My period was delayed after lap as well. I don't remember by how long though. I want to say it was a week to 10 days. I would wait on the provera as well. I would just let it happen on its own.

Re: How long would you wait for AF to come after Lap?
Thank you for your responses, just got back from Dr, he wanted to do blood work to see where I am in my cycle. He said if I already ovulated then no provera for me.
Now I just gotta wait it out.
Then my next fear is that I will have another cyst and won't be able to start Clomid. That's what happened to me the first time I tried taking it, then I needed to have surgery, etc etc. I swear, it never ends. I'm so sick of the waiting!!
