LIJ Manhasset OB recc?
Sorry, im sure this has been asked 100000x before but can you recc. your ob-gyn affilitaed with lij Manhasset? I had a negative experience with my current dr and want to avoid that situation again. If you can recc. a high-risk ob also that would help tons.

Great neck Obgn groups is very good. They have few drs in the group
Dr. klein
Dr. Nimaroff
Dr. Alkasab
Dr.Gilbert
Dr.Maloney
Dr.Cho
And I think one or two more, can't remember the names.
My primary is dr. klein and I like him a lot even though he can be a bit "silly" sometimes. But he is great, he always explains things so well, answers all my questions and makes me feel very comfortable . He was highly recommended by few moms who had high risk pregnancies and I'm so glad I went to him.
I saw dr. Nimaroff once and he was ehh, it was an emergency visit and I felt like he was annoyed that he had to "waste" his time. I also saw dr. gilbert and wasn't happy with her, it was also an emergency visit and I felt like she couldn't wait to be done and gone. She was in and out before I knew it .
I also hear great things about dr. alkasab, everyone raves about her.
The only thing is that front desk can be a bit of a pain to deal with, but not too bad. It's a big group, so they are busy...
I also hear really good things about dr. Clifford Goldstein , he is also high risk he is in a group practice in Great Neck, with dr. Trufelli. The group was also highly recommended by few moms and it was hard to decide between the 2 groups. But for whatever reason I went with the first one.

This is my practice too but it's actually North Shore University Hospital OBGYN (they're the primary office for NSUH) - 825 Northern. Klein and Nimaroff were previously part of Great Neck OBGYN (900 Northern - Sadaty, Rifkin, etc).
I literally could NOT recommend Klein more - love love love him. Nimaroff is great though I actually never saw him this pregnancy but I did many times my previous 2. Alksab delivered my 2nd and once I got over the fact that she's basically my age, I loved her  . Gilbert is eh IMO but i have confidence in her as a physician. I've never seen Cho or Maloney (though one of them is leaving - I think it's Maloney but I'm not positive; this is per my ped, not the office).
OP - I assume you mean NSUH Manhasset, not LIJ in New Hyde Park, right? Neither NSUH OBGYN nor Great Neck OBGYN deliver at LIJ, just NSUH Manhasset.

yes this is correct, sorry, my mistake, it's North Shore University Hospital OBGYN NOT Great Neck obgyn ,not sure why I posted GN OBGYN. Can I blame it on my pregnancy brain?

I love my ob group. northern ob/gyn.
I am not sure if they are high risk also but I see Dr Fried for yrs and love her. They are a great office

Them! They are all fantastic. My original doctor from the group was dr. gilbert but I saw her at her Mineola address. At 30 weeks I developed preeclampsia and saw Dr. Klein. I delivered by emergency c-section at 30w6days and Dr. Gilbert delivered me. I saw Dr. Klein for my follow up appointments and he was actually there when I was discharged from the hospital. By the time i was discharged I think I had met everyone in the practice and they are all excellent! The entire group is fantastic and i would recommend them to everyone.

I had a very bad experience with my old ob/gyn in Lake Success (Dr. Marci Ostroff). Thankfully, I found Dr. Klein's office. They are very organized and I have been very impressed. I have my first appointment with Dr. Klein next week and I can't wait. I met with Dr. Gilbert a few weeks ago and my husband & I really liked her. We met with Dr. Alkasab twice and she is nice, but very perky. This is my first pregnancy and I am at high risk because I am having twins. However, I feel I am in great hands at this practice. PS. Dr. Klein was J Lo's doctor. Can't get any better!
