My blood work is back!
I just got a call from my gyno and she said that my hormone levels and thyroid are both OK! It's a relief but I'm also confused as to why I haven't gotten my period since December
She wants to see me again in May, hopefully I get AF, it's so hard to TTC with such a crazy cycle!

Glad your levels are normal. I'm confused why she is waiting to see you. I would look for a second opinion.
Are you just coming off of bc?

i agree! Its great that your levels are normal but the doctor should figure out what the reason behind the delay is. I know people have long cycles, but a 90+ day cycle does not sound right.

Re: My blood work is back!
I had the same issue. I didn't get my period for 95 days. My blood work was normal and I didn't have any other symptoms of PCOS so my doctor wasn't worried, but I PUSHED getting an ultrasound and that was how we found out that I have DO have PCOS. I have found that you HAVE to be your own advocate. If you KNOW something is wrong, don't stop until someone will listen to you.

I did just come off BC in December after being on it for 10 years for an irregular period. Also, she has me doing OPKs everyday for a month - I got a on Sunday and we that night so I don't know if that has anything to do with why she wants to wait to see me.

This is what I was worried about. I'm going to push for an ultrasound when I see her in May. If she tries to fluff it off, I will definitely seek another opinion.
Thank you for the feed back

Okay that makes more sense. The opk will only tell you if you are having a surge, not that you actually ovulated. If there is a reason for the irregular cycles (PCOS) then the opk may not be accurate. I would wait to see if you get your period within the next 2 weeks from Monday and if not go back and get answers.

Took me about 4-5 months for my cycles to regulate and I was also on bc for 10 yrs

No, not yet anyway. I kind of feel like she is taking things very lightly because of my age. When she called me to tell me the blood results all came out OK, I told her that I got a on the OPK Sunday so we Sunday and Monday. She said that she didn't want to see me until next month since I have Od but she told me to keep taking the OPK test everyday. She then told me not to worry because I'm young and have plenty of time to TTC.
