TTC & work
Good news is I just got a promotion at work!! Bad news is more responsibility; and we're in the middle of TTC!!
What happens if we're lucky enough to get pregnant this cycle (or the next 2-3) and I end up having to leave not even a year into my promotion? I've been with the company 5 years now so it's not like I just started...but it does make me nervous. Does it look bad if I end up having to go out on Maternity Leave??

I don't think you should even think about that. You're allowed to start a family. Plus, you've been there for 5 years and earned your promotion.

I'm in the same boat. Want a baby but worried about the reaction. I keep telling myself it's life and putting it off is bad too. I've learned from experience.

Congratulations! That's fantastic news!
I don't think it should be a problem. You've been with the company for 5 years and obviously have proven yourself to be a valuable employee or they wouldn't have promoted you.
