This sleeplessness...
Is getting old really fast! I am literally so very tired of waking up every hour. And that's no exaggeration! I don't get it. How cruel is it that our last chance of sleeping through the night for a really long time is taken away these last few weeks?!? I have to make it through the next month of work and everyday I'm just dragging asss!
Wahhhh. Vent over

Last few weeks?!?!? Don't tell me it gets worse... I have been dealing with sleep issues since week 6 of this pregnancy and have yet to get any relief (I'm now at 20 weeks). I always wake up hourly. I am always tossing and turning. Uncomfortable. Having to force myself up to get out of bed to pee. Having crazy dreams and nightmares. It's insane. I walk around feeling tired the entire day because of it. It's terrible,

I reall didn't have bad sleep issues until I hit 3rd tri. No position is comfy and I now have to shove a pillow under my belly to prop it up otherwise it literally aches from the weight. I pee like 5x a night and I think a lot has to do with the baby's pressure on my bladder. I wonder how I'm going to make it til mid/end may.

Re: This sleeplessness...
I haven't had a good nights sleep since I got pregnant. I wake up to pee and then I'm up for hours. I wish I was able to go right back to sleep at least, then I wouldn't mind so much. And I'm only 13 weeks but I already get really bad back pain if I sleep on my right side or my back so I already have to stick with my left side. Still, it's all worth it! Actually I think the little amount of sleep we've been getting while pregnant might be more than we'll get once our LOs arrive, at least at first

Re: This sleeplessness...
I have this too...mine is also very bad..sometimes i think i only get 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night...i cannot get comfy! I'm up twisting and turning non-stop. Last night was really bad.
On the plus side, i can't figure out why..but i haven't been feeling overly exhausted, which is very bizarre, but i'm not gonna complain! It's the only good thing i have going with this pregnancy!

Re: This sleeplessness...
I wake up constantly at night and have the hardest time getting comfortable. I highly recommend getting a body pillow if you don't already have one. While I still have sleep issues, it's been WAY better since I got the snoogle pillow. I can't imagine how bad it would be now if I had never gotten it.

Re: This sleeplessness...
If it makes you feel better, you TRULY do get used to it.
I honestly cannot remember the last time that I slept through the night. And that is even with taking something to go to sleep.
I would say this started around week 25 or so and has gotten progressively worse. It helps though if you dont drink a lot before bed. But sometimes I am awake just because. I think its hormonal. The body's way of preparing us for a baby to care for nightly.

I am a walking zombie at work today ! I can't take it anymore. I don't know how I am going to make it the next two months ! I am either awake to pee, change positions or just up every hour on the hour !!! I don't remember it being this bad this early on with DD
