I've been in my house 4 years now...my backyard is concrete with a little 4X12 batch of rectangular dirt! I really want to spruce it up. Where do I begin? I don't have a green thumb at all. Do i just go and start buying some flowers to pot and hope it comes out nice? Is there a science behind it? I would like a section with flowers; and another with some Herbs.
