on hold for now, but i'll be back soon!
DH and I had a pretty lengthy conversation about TTC last night. We had planned to start trying this month, and I'm actually in my o week. However, we started realizing that should we get pregnant right away (I know it's slim, but still could happen) we'd have a baby this year, which we're not 100% ready for. We're in a 1 bedroom and our lease doesn't end until February. The idea of having a baby in our tiny apt (it's in NYC, so you can imagine the size) and then looking for a new apt with a newborn seems pretty tough.
Also, we have a bunch of trips coming up - wineries in April, Florida in May and then Greece in June. So, while I know you can't plan your life around things like this, it's also hard to imagine trying to climb the Acropolis and a million stairs in Greece during my 1st trimester.
So, net, net, we're going to hold off TTC until May. While that's not that far away, I'm still a little bummed. (I'm crazy and already started fantasizing about being preggers). But, when I put my logic hat on, I realize this is the best decision for us right now.
I'll still be lurking around though, and back in full force soon. Good luck to everyone!!

Thanks! It's funny you mention that though - we did BD once during O week, before we realized that now's not the best time for TTC. So watch that one day turn in to something...
