Let's do this!!

Hello All,
I am a regular poster in hiding.
DH and I are ready to start TTC for baby #1. I am 31 (will be 32 next month) and he is 32. We got married last summer and decided to start this journey after we unexpectedly had a chemical in late January. I stopped BCP in June last year and we used the pull and pray method for a while . So when I was late in January I tested and got a BFP so we ran through the mixture of emotions from shock to being happy and then it turned into a chemical but the blessing in disquise was it made us realize that we wanted to start TTC much earlier than we had originally planned.

So here I am!!!!

With a few questions of course.

I had my chemical on Jan 19th. My doctor told me my next period might be a week or so late and I got my next AF on Feb 23rd. So exactly 35 days later. Prior to January I was getting AF anywhere from my earliest cycle being 24 days to latest being 30 days , as per the app of my phone P Tracker Lite my average cycle length is 29 days. So right now I am at CD 34 and no sign of AF. I have tested and have gotten BFN the past 2 mornings. I think I o'd on CD24 (I used Target brand OPK but not sure if I did it right, I forgot a few days-we weren't super actively trying this month just kinda winging it), which could be why i'm so late.

My question is, has anyone else experienced longer cycles after a chemical? This is only going into my second cycle since the chemical. Since being off BCP i've never experienced anything longer than 30 days. I usually get cramping before AF rears that nasty head of hers and so far nothing. Zilch nada. I just want her to come already so we can move on to next month and really start trying.

Welcome fellow 11 Bride! (I am new to the TTC as well)

You made me with your pull and pray method. (We've used that for I don't know how long)

Last year in March I had a chemical and my cycle was soooo on time before that...afterwards my cycles were a day or two longer and my flow was more days....it seemed like it took months to get back to some normalcy.

2011 was a great year..hopefully the end of 2012 and 2013 will be even better

so now i'm trying to patiently await the arrival of AF...and stop POAS already!

congrats and welcome!

i am so sorry for your loss,i have been there myself a few times

my cycles r wacky to begin with but after our first loss i did not get af for 72 days

i think coming off a chemical ur cycle can be diff and sometimes even just have one of those months where it is a few days early and or late

if u think u o'd on cd 24 and it is cd 35 ur are only 10 dpo and have a few more days before af would even be due

think u just have to wait this one out!

i think she's coming....never been so happy to see her.
light bleeding before and cramping...can't wait to get her full blown so we can move on to this month!
