Going to the gyno tomorrow..
I was set to have my annual exam in April but since I still haven't gotten AF, I decided to bump it up to tomorrow.
My last period was December 3rd, I stopped taking the BCP after that and haven't had a period since.
I've read a lot about PCOS and I'm convinced that that's my issue. For girls who have been through this, is there anything I should mention to my OBGYN tomorrow besides the fact that I haven't gotten AF?

You just went off BCP in december? It took my body a little while to regulate -- I hope that is all it is!

I hope so too! I just feel like it's been so long with no AF and I was originally put on the pill at 15 because I had an irregular period.

i hope it is nothing major and just your body regulating to the lack of bcp.
I dont have experience with this, but i would just be certain in addition to an exam and pap, you insist that they do a full blood workup (including cholesterol, thyroid and whatever they use to test for to diagnose pcos).

I went off the pill once a few years back and didn't get my period for 6 months! I went back on and was fine (no PCOS or anything, it just didn't restart). I was really nervous to come off again, but I did in December with no issues and my period has been coming regularly. Sometimes your body just doesn't know how to regulate, but I think that can give you something to jumpstart it. Good luck!!
