I Want to SCREAM
The contractors installed the new fridge on Friday. Yesterday I had a ton of running around to do, so I did nothing with the fridge. I just started pulling off the protective plastic etc, and lo and behold - the features of the model have changed!! This unit does NOT have the exact same features as when I ordered it. 
I am so flippin' mad right now. I did NOT want a bottom freezer. I caved and got a french door only because I had exhausted every single solitary top freezer model and could not find an energy star rated unit that had everything I wanted.
This particular model had two freezer feature I considered crucial to selecting this unit - the first was a shelf on the door itself (like a top freezer), and the second was a pull out shelf for stacking frozen entrees. Well, I have no pull out shelf. Now I have two baskets (the regular door basket in a bottom freezer), and this other thing that should be a shelf. Now, no matter what I want out of the freezer I have to go digging. That is [B[exactly the reason I didn't want a bottom freezer to begin with. I do not want to "dig" to find what I am looking for. Now I am stuck.

That's what I was wondering, too. If it's not what you ordered or paid for, why keep it?
I have looked into that possibility. To return it, I have to get it to the store. As annoyed as I am over a drawer vs a shelf, I'm not so annoyed that I would spend the amount of money it would cost me to rent a truck etc to get it back there. I am annoyed enough to come here and vent!

I would go to the store and TELL THEM to pick it up! It's not what you ordered. You paid for delivery!
I would INSIST on them picking it up!

Where did u order the fridge from. Most stores will pick up returns. I bought a dryer at Lowes and wasn't happy with it. Lowes picked it up. No cost to me.
