questions about sod
We did major construction on our house last year and re-graded our front and back yards then seeded in the fall with the hopes it'd stick over the winter. Unfortunately our dog and contractors have kept that from happening and we now have to re-rototill (sp?) the whole thing and either re-seed or use sod. The idea of re-seeding and keeping both the dog and kids off the yard for another 3-4 weeks annoys me and Im hoping doing sod would be faster. Any advice on price plus pros/cons of using sod? Fwiw, we've kept our yard chemical free until now so I'm assuming the sod would require us to use something non-natural? Tia.

Re: questions about sod
We need to regrade & seed our lawn now too! Did you do it yourself? Do you know if they took up the old grass? And, who'd you use? We're deciding wehther to do it ourselves or hire, but I think cost will be the determining factor.

Re: questions about sod
We called Delea on Elwood Road and they recommended one of their workers to install.
I'm pretty sure that they put down lime and that's it?
