If you feel crappy..
and people ask you "how are you feeling?"...do you just say that you feel fine..or do you tell the truth - that you feel like crap -
Just curious...its primarily at work, but people CONSTANTLY ask me how i'm feeling..sometimes i feel weird telling people i feel like crap...primarily because i feel like they are just asking me to make small talk and are kinda expecting me to just say fine...
I lie to some people and just say i feel fine, because its just easier than getting into all of my pain issues.

I tell them the truth. LOL if they're asking I will tell them. Usually they will let me take it easier if I'm not feeling too well and that really helps

Yea with coworkers especially I usually say I'm fine when I'm feeling crappy, I usually don't want to get into details when they ask what's wrong, plus I get the feeling they are just making small talk and don't care to hear about my heartburn, hemrroids, inability to sleep , should I even go on??

If a friend or family member asked, i'd probably tell the truth. If a coworker asked, I'd be much more inclined to lie and say i'm feeling ok or "not bad".

I usually say something like "today is a tough one". If it's a woman who has children, especially a woman who has recently had a child, I tend to share a little more.
I can't say fine and make it believable when I am making the faces of pain that I make sometimes!

I have a lot of people ask me too...depends on the person. If its someone I know is genuine, I might give them a little bit more info. If its someone being nosey I just say fine. I was feeling so crappy for so long I would just say "I have my good days and my bad days, thank you for asking"

I pretty much tell everyone fine. Who wants to hear a leg swelling, sleep deprived, heartburn having, cant catch my breath preggie lady telling the truth.
