Re: few questions bout day after retrieval and PIO
1- that's normal, it's from all the bloating..
2- OMG when we did PIO my first IVF cycle, I could have sworn we were doing it wrong. We got my progesterone checked halfway through and I was worried it would show I wasn't absorbing it because we were doing it wrong. I was expecting it to be HORRIBLE and when it wasn't, I was confused!
It was all fine though. So fine... that I conceived 3 babies!

Re: few questions bout day after retrieval and PIO
Are you drawing the PIO up with an 18 1/2 syringe? It's slower if you don't have the proper syringe. I used a 22 1/2, the one you inject with and was wondering why the hell it was taking so long! I also warm the PIO in the syringe so it's not as thick.
Glad you're feeling better. Keep drinking fluids.

ITA, if filling the syringe is taking a long time you prob need to use the bigger tip to draw it up and then switch to the skinnier tip for the inject.

Yes i found warming up the PIO in my hands for a few mins before injecting helped soooo much! doing the actual injections was not bad for me it was the after that was more annoying....i would get itchy welts and it didnt go away until about 2 weeks after i stopped PIO!

***Totally normal, its the bloating. Drink a ton of water. You'll be peeing more than ever but it helps.

Yep, I was fine the whole time with PIO. It never hurt as far as injecting but my butt is still sore from 10 weeks of doing them every night.
in regards to filling the syringe does it take anyone else forever?? am i doing something wrong? it comes out so slow or not at all?
It does come out very slow. I had a different needle that was larger that I would use to fill the syringe then Id switch to the smaller one for the injection otherwise it took a long time since its thick.
is there a tip how to do it? or does it just go that slow?

Re: few questions bout day after retrieval and PIO
1 - Completely normal. 2 - If you warm the PIO a little it should help. Also, if you fill the syringe with air, and then let the air our in the vial, the extra pressure should help the oil move out a little faster. GL!
For FET, I used PIO and we got pregnant! GL!!
