Was this a chemical?
Can u girls tell me what you think cuz I'm going nuts!
I was expecting my period this pst wed. My period is NEVER late. I ovulate every 13 days and get my period every 28. For God sakes, 28 days after I had my twins I got my period..thats how regular I am.
Wed came and went and no AF. thurs came And went and no AF.
Friday I started to wonder and I took a test. It was positive with a faint 2nd line but it wAs still there. Then I realized that the test was expired by a month so I grabbed the twins And went to CVS to get more tests.
I come home take a digital test and it was negative.
I tell my hubby and he tells me to take the other one In a little while. I did and that one said "pregnant"at this point I was TOTALLY CONFUSED.
I took two more test, both positive with a very faint 2nd line, same this sat morn. Last night I started to spot and today I got a very very very heavy AF. not like it normally is.
Do u girls think this was a chemical? How can I confirm?
ETA: I did ovulate at 13 days cuz when I do it's super painful.

I think it was a chemical, the only way to know for sure whys going on isn't get blood work done to check your hcg levels

 it could have been but are you taking any new medicines at all? also, are they clots in the blood? if it was, im sorry!!!! and yes, you can go get your hcg levels checked if you would like.

No no..I'm not on any meds at all. I'll call my doc in the morn and see if they will even bother to have my bloods done.

yeah i agree. sounds like a chemical but go for a beta, although if you are heavy bleeding it might be too late for a beta. are you still testing positive?

although it sounds like it may have been a chemical since you kept testing positive, just because you have blood clots doesn't mean its an automatic chemical. I have very heavy periods naturally with clots but i always test negtive...
i would call the doctor and see if they can still run tests at this point to verify.

hey girls!! I just wanted to give u guys a little update even though its not much.
My bleeding remains very heavy and although i do get bad periods this is just unheard of. I called the doc this morning and spoke the the nurse. she will talkt ot he doc and call me back shorty. so i have no idea what they will want me to do.
I have never tested positive on a home preg test b4. To conceive the twins we did IVF for a male IF issue. So i never tested at home since I didnt want to drive myself crazy. however I know that I am VERY regular so I just had a feeling something was up. especially since i know that i ovulated on time.
I will update you all again once the doc calls me back.
