Bunch of questions for those who have relocated AND when to list your house, etc.
Sorry if this is long and confusing, but we're in the beginning steps of researching and would love to hear others' experiences.
Relocating depends on a certain job offer...but, if that offer comes, job would probably start about 3-4 months later. When would you list your house? I did a very preliminary search to see avg days on the market, but didn't have much luck, and also know that there are so many variables there, too.
What process did you follow (as far as when you both applied for jobs, etc)? I feel like it will be easiest for me to get a job, so I don't want to apply until DH gets one. If he doesn't get an offer, I don't want to waste my, or the employers, time. (but, if we both get what we're considering, both would have that 3-4 month timeframe).
So, even if you didn't have to see your house, I'd still love to hear your experience with moving out of state- every little bit helps!
