Does Anyone Else Go Through This?
When I have to go to the bathroom to urinate, my bladder feels so full and I feel so much pressure that its soo uncomfortable at times that I can barely walk... Its not ALL the time, but I have some days where theres def more pressure than others and I have to pee like every 2 minutes... Like sometimes it just doesnt even make sense to leave the bathroom thats how often I have to go... other days Im fine... Does anyone else experience this? Im 24 weeks...
I have the Dr Thurs so Im gonna ask her about this...
I also notice that when Im sitting sometimes I dont realize how badly I have to go and when I get up again I go through all the above feelings... Anyone else?

Re: Does Anyone Else Go Through This?
I have the same issue, at least with the last part of your post. I don't go to the bathroom as much as I should because I sit all day at work and for hours at a time, so when I do get up the full force of the baby and my bladder take me by surprise!
I'm now trying to make sure I go to the bathroom even when I don't think I have to go...like my mom did when I was a a kid!

Re: Does Anyone Else Go Through This?
That definately happens to me sometimes, and I have to say that it was really bad in the 2nd trimester...the baby was heavy enough to put a good deal of pressure on my bladder and was feet down at that point...so every time it kicked or moved I had to go. I could go like 5 times in 10 minutes! It was very annoying and my doc would just smirk when I brought it up. We both knew it was just because of the baby's position.
When the baby flipped at around 33/34 weeks it actually got better for a while --- and now that I'm 38+ weeks it's annoying again...

Re: Does Anyone Else Go Through This?
Yes!! I was just saying this to DH last night. I'm 36w 1d and the baby has def dropped. I feel like now he's really right on my bladder and if I don't go to pee as soon as I feel the urge to then I start to feel this strong uncomfortable pressure that doesn't get relieved until I go. And even when I am going, the uncomfortablness/pressure doesn't really end until I'm almost done going. I don't know if I'd every really say it was "pain" though. Again, more of like an INTENSE pressure. Pain may signal something else and it's def worth a mention to your OB to just be safe and check for a UTI.

Yup I get this all the time. It really sometimes depends how the baby is postioned.

Re: Does Anyone Else Go Through This?
Im still gonna ask about getting tested for UTI just cause Im paranoid...
But pain is the wrong word, discomfort and pressure are the right ways to describe it...
Thank goodness Im not alone...
