interesting morning at quest! no more paper bills?
I have a 3pm doc appt with Dr.B but they wanted to check my LH and since I could not come till this afternoon I went to quest early this morning for blood
Right before she goes to do it she says you have a 15 dollar co pay, I said I know I get the bill in the mail..she says new policy all co pays paid day of...I take out my wallet and give her cash...she says no cash!!! I said I don't have a credit card on me...when I paid off my cc after we got married I just closed it,dh has his and we figured that's all we need
She says I can't take blood...I whipped my neck like the exorcist and said. U don't understand I am in the middle of a ivf cycle I need to have this done now..I think I scared her!!
So here I am in quest calling dh so he can give me the info on the phone, all worked out blood was taken and I know for next time I need the card!
She also told me I was lucky to have ghi bc the co pays went up crazy amounts...I def know aetna was 60 dollars!!!!the other was 40,I think it was empire?? For people that get blood drawn once twice a week that is crazy!!!!

I have aetna and didn't pay anything at quest. Guess it depends on the plan. I was just there mon and wed. So weird! You would think they would have advised patents or have a sign in the waiting room.

She said they did it bc noone was paying the bills...maybe it was just this quest, maybe the people in queens r jumping the bills lol. It is always so crowded in this one. I waited a hour and a half for blood!

OMG that's crazy...how do you change a policy and then expect pple to know? i would have been pissed if there was no way to pay and i needed that blood work done!

 HOLY crap.... and to think that these idiots almost wouldn't take your blood, come on!  Copays went up like crazy for everyone but seriously those amounts are insane.
