What are you wearing home from the hospital?
My hospital bag and the baby's diaper bag are all packed, I just haven't packed my going-home outfit.
I am not sure what to pack. With my first pregnancy I packed a black velour outfit and it was just fine...comfortable and all. But I don't really have appropriate pre-pregnancy clothes to pack since I got pregnant in the summer. Everything I was wearing pre-pregnancy was capris --- and if you go back a few months before that...to when I was wearing long pants, it's all too big on me because I lost a lot of weight prior to getting pregnant.
Do I go out and buy myself a sweat pants outfit to wear home from the hospital?
Do I just wear maternity clothes home? Like maybe my maternity yoga pants and a long sleeved t?

something comfy ~ I wore my preggo clothes home with DS ~ I was so worried about everything else I forgot to have an outfit for myself. Not sure what I will do with this lo.

Also ....
I packed slippers for the hospital ...
Do I need socks? I don't remember what I did last time? I remember them giving me these horrible slipper socks that they said I had to wear --- will they let me wear my own socks with slippers or are they going to make me wear slipper socks? They are so scratchy feeling!

I wore yoga pants and a maternity teeshirt but I really didn't need to wear maternity clothes home.

i wore pre-preggo sweats and long sleeve shirt---
as far as slippers, I brought my own and wore them the day after i gave birth

I packed socks and slippers and crocs for the shower.
For coming home, I packed maternity leggings and pre-pregnancy yoga pants with a maternity/nursing tank and a zip up hoodie. l

I packed a pre-preggo sweatsuit outfit and a maternity tank top.
Maternity yoga pant and shirt is fine. You will want to be comfortable.

I packed a comfy pair of maternity yoga pants and a maternity top. I still looked 6 months pregnant when I went home (so much so that my DS asked if there was another baby in there still!)....
A week later, I am back to PP weight and the belly is gone, but my stomach has that deflated look that just hangs

I wore yoga pants and a long sleeve shirt home. You can definitely wear your maternity clothes home and make sure they are comfy. I wore t-shirts and yoga pants the entire time so I was always "dressed" for visitors or to go see my baby in the NICU. Don't buy anything new unless you have to.
