low progesterone
hi everyone im about 6 weeks pregant after having a miscarriage back in august...my docotor just gave me a presciption for crinone because my progesterone in 8.2 which did go up from 7.3 a week ago...any one use it and have sucess? im just so afraid im going to miscarry again...he did say my hcg levels were excellent...all this worrying is killing me

My progesterone went down to 6 when I was pregnant with my DS and he is now 15mo!
I was on the suppositories until I was 10 weeks and it did make a huge difference. My levels increased immediately!

Mine was very low too. I was on progesterone until 12 weeks.
It will be ok - I am now 28 weeks!

i was on crinone too and took it until 11.5 weeks... you will be ok!

I don't know if it's linked but I had 2 miscarriages, both times with low progesterone. This is the first pregnancy where I was prescribed progesterone and so far this is the first pregnancy where I've gotten this far. The progesterone started working immediately, I think you're taking the right precautions

i had it as well. i got pregnant adn first levels were great, but then they plummeted within a week, and i was put on crinone until 12+ weeks. I am currently 20 weeks, adn as of today baby is doing amazing. good luck. keep ya head up. This is a great place if you are worried..if you need you can fm me as someone who was in your shoes..

low progesterone is very common. as long as they are monitoring it and giving you supplements its a very easily treatable issue.

With DC#1, my progesterone was less than 5, even on suppositories and all turned out well

yes, with my second pregnancy it was low and i was bleeding. i took some pills. my daughter is now a little over 2 and perfectly healthy and happy

As you can read from all the above posts, your dr is taking the appropriate steps to raise your levels. I had a miscarriage last April for the same reasons. Took Crinone this time around till 10 weeks and now I'm in my second trimester.

thanks everyone...i picked up the crinone today and am going to start it tonight...hopefully it works and we see the heart beat next week

I've also been on suppositories and I'm currently 17 weeks. Be aware that the supplements get messy and leak. Wear a liner. Best of luck to you!
