$3,995 For Bathroom Remodel?
Has anyone used or heard of J&J Contracting?
They have an ad out in the penny-saver which advertises bathroom remodels starting at $3,995.
They're coming in for an estimate tomorrow and wondered if anyone's ever used them here.

Never heard of that company but we once called a contractor from the pennysaver (I think it was called Shifra) that advertised around the same price for a bathroom remodel & when they got here they said that was only up to a certain square footage & anything larger would be additional cost. Hopefully it's not the case here but keep us posted!

This is normal though. you are not going to get a big bathroom for that price. I can barely do a bathroom myself for that $$$.

I am about to do a small master bathremodel and i cannot imagine you would get what you want to do for that price. We are looking at over $10,000 for an 5 by 11 bath.

Yes, it's the base price. Bob from J&J came for the estimate today. He was easy to talk to and seemed experienced. He gave me a run down of what was included in their special (tiles on floor & tub area, steel tub, tiny vanity, matching med cabinet, toilet, molding and i think that was pretty much it).
We need a lot of extra's like an exhaust fan, built wall, convert radiator to base board heating, and lighting. They'll give us a credit for things we chose on our own, like the vanity/ med cabinet or toilet. And a credit for the other bath we have that's already gutted. It is for a 5x8 sized bathroom, or its equivalent square footage.
He said he'd get back to me with a final estimate later today or tomorrow.

It cost us around $7500 for a bathroom remodel for our tiny bathroom- 5x7. DH did the electric on his own.
ETA: We called a few of those adds. There were a bunch of conditions that we didn't want to deal with (size, product selections, etc)

we're up to almost $6k adding specifically what we want to their "special". nothing fancy.
american standard cast iron tub, moen faucets, ceramic tiles.
