How to find out the EXACT town?

So we saw a house over the weekend, but we are unsure what town it is in.

We were in Mineola and when we were leaving 1 house, we saw a sign for an open house.

Went in and the flyer said "East Williston"

We asked the agent - "East Williston? But we saw a house 2 blocks over that is Mineola"

He said - "Well, some call this area East Willison, some call it Mineola"

Of course East Williston is a "better" area than Mineola (most people think so).
The 2 houses were comparable, but the "East Williston" house was about 80k more.

What is the best way to verify what town it really is in?

Looking at the zip code in google, it says Mineola.

If you don't trust what's on the listing, go to www.mynassauproperty.com, and put in the street address, it will bring up the full address with town/zip code, as well as the school district, according to county records.

Or you could work with a buyer's agent who can do the legwork and verifying for you!

hmmm strangely enough, it says Mineola.

But I went to Trulia and looked up houses in "East Williston" and plug in those addresses (with the same zip code), and it comes up as Mineola also.

Weird
