please remind me, how long does it take to get results back from an NT screen?
I have one on Thu .
Oh and also does an ultrasound technician tell us anything at all or just do an ultrasound and then let the dr. do the rest?
I don't know why but I don't remember what happened the first time, it was so long ago

They tell you the neck measurement right there and you'll get your blood results back in a week.

For ours, we got the results right then and there (minus the blood work). The tech did the majority of the scan, went out to show the perinatologist the pics and then the perinatologist came in to say that everything looked great. In my case, the perinatologist did a quick scan of his own but that's just because of my history with a previous pregnancy that he was just being overly cautious. After the scan was done, they did the finger prick blood test and I think they called me with those results in about a week.

this... also i didn't get my results back from my doc until i actually went into my appt to see him which was like, 2 weeks later.

We got the results of the blood work a week after the NT scan. They scheduled another appointment on the spot for two weeks from then. When I went back 2 weeks later, I found out it was because the neck measurement was out of the normal range. They did not tell me then and were going to mention it at my next appointment. Luckily my bloodwork came back normal and when they did the scan again, the neck measurement was in the normal range.

Like others, the tech told us right away and I got the blood work results a week later.

i did the bloodwork portion a few days prior to the visit and got the full results at my 12 wk checkup. the tech told us the measurements all looked fine and then they plugged everything into the computer and the dr gave us the full results combined with the bloodwork.

I just had my NT scan on Friday and my doctor just called me back with the bloodwork and full results. She had said within 3-5 days.
