I realize this is a silly question...
but what goes in the diaper bag besides the following:
diapers
wipes
ointment
pacifiers
change of clothes
burp cloths
bibs
This is my first LO and I'm drawing a blank.

I guess bottles if you formula feed. And you can get those dispensers for the powdered formula. I'll probably put some antibacterial wipes, arm and hammer bags for dirty diapers, and disposable pads for changing in public places.

One good tip that someone gave me once was to keep a $20 hidden in one side of the inside pockets...in case you ever need cash while you're out!
In my diaper bag that I have packed so far I have...
1 burp cloth
4-5 diapers
wipes
diaper rash cream (my preference is butt paste)
little hat
outfit
2 onesies
socks
recieving blanket
You add things that you need through experience, but I do believe those are the basics!

The only thing I can think to add is a bottle, formula dispenser (If you are not BF), and the scented bags for dirty diapers. I can't think of anything else.

When the baby gets older: toys, medications (you never know when you will need it), extra blanket
But you have it pretty much covered.
