yes line...no line **New UPDATE**
So I have been having some early signs of pregnancy which I thought was ovulation signs as they are similar for me. I have irregular periods and my gyno is planning on inducing me mid March if AF doesn't show.
I figured I'd take a hpt when i got home from work yesterday and to my surprise a line showed up quickly then became faint but still showing a beautiful line. I took another test this AM with a different brand and NO line!! So confused...
Now I'm going crazy wondering if the other was a fluke (evaporation line or false positive) and I'm trying to not get excited cause of the BFN this morning.
**Just spoke to my Dr. and she is sending me for bloodwork today!! I am so nervous cause I want it to be postive so bad. She said I could very well be pregnant but she wants me to be prepared that it could be a chemical pregnancy or a false positive. So nervous!!
3/2: So I am not pregnant. The bloodwork came back negative. My gyno started me on medication to induce my period since I haven't had one in 3 months. Hopefully next month is better!

Re: yes line...no line
It's very rare to have a false positive, but more common to have a false negative! I'd wait a few days and test again (easier said than done, I know! ) Good luck!

Re: yes line...no line
the 1st test was the CVS generic brand and the one this morning was First response. I can't find the sensitive levels anywhere on the box...

Re: yes line...no line
Pregnancy Test sensitivity by brand
Depends on which First Response.
The CVS is 25 mIU/ml The First Response One Step is 100

Re: yes line...no line
So that means the CVS one is more sensitive correct...I have been reading the what to expect book and it said the lower the number the better. The First response was the early detection one and definitely cost more then the CVS brand one.
