CT scan and TTC

So I'm sitting at the Drs office with what I think is another kidney stone. Dr did a urine text ruled out pregnancy and is sending me for a CT scan right now.

I'm only 6 DPO and I KNEW the test would be a BFN. Now I'm nervous to get the CT scan bc "what if?" I know I have to make sure if there is a stone it isn't blocking anything - but I'm really nervous.

Has anyone else been in this kind of situation?

6DPO twin!!!

I've never had experience with this, but wouldn't it be early enough to not cause harm?? Although, if I were in your shoes, I'm sure I'd be worried, too. Why don't you ask someone who works there, just for peace of mind??

Re: CT scan and TTC

I am NOT happy with this Dr I am seeing and am currently looking for a new PCP.

I asked her (I saw the NP today) I dunno 3x during my visit and she just repeated Well, the test was negative.

So I took matters into my own hands and realized that I HAVE to get the CT scan. No matter what. The choice was simple (Even though worrisome) I can't chance going into kidney failure bc of a blockage based on a what if.

But I sure am POed about it. Now I have to wait for these A-holes to get my results. After that, I'm switching PCPs AGAIN! Already got a recommendation from the health board

Re: CT scan and TTC

I think if a pregnancy would be too early to detect, that a scan wont cause it harm. Sooo many people get pregnant and dont realize until theyre 6, 8, 10wks and deliver perfectly healthy babies. U just need to live your life and not worry until you KNOW you're preggoChat Icon
