Surrogates in India??!!
Has anyone ever heard of this? I was bored and doing some online browsing when I came across this....
Made in India (documentary)
Check out the video... It's actually really interesting!!!
It's not something I am actually considering (ummm ... we put on our application that we would like the person within 10hrs of driving distance, I can't imagine a few continents apart!!!! ) 
It's amazing what science is capable of these days...
ETA: .. just watched the video again (was multitasking before.. ) .. I didn't realize that the women who do this in India are in poverty. It's actually really sad, and they also get paid much less than what they would in the United States. 
Very interesting video nonetheless... but so sad too......

yes I remember seeing something like this on Oprah...I couldnt even imagine the point that a a couple gets to when surrogacy is their only option and they cant afford it here in the US...

i saw this one tv once and i felt so bad for these women, its actually a bad stigma for them there and many of them keep the surrogate pregnancy under wraps so their family won't find out
