feeling light headed
Is it normal to feel light headed at 8 weeks?
Yesterday I was coming home and felt like I was going to faint. I made sure to be hydrated all day and made sure to eat and have snacks. When I got home I passed out and felt a little better but this morning I woke up and felt light headed again.
Did any one experience this?

Re: feeling light headed
I had that a lot, esp in the beginning. I'd call your OB and let them know and be sure to drink lots of water, eat often and sit down/rest whenever you start to feel lightheaded!

Re: feeling light headed
I had a LOT of dizziness in the beginning. I'd be cleaning up the toys and bend over or just move too quickly and it would happen.
I always tried to sit down when I experienced it and I tried to eat snacks every 2 hours.

Re: feeling light headed
Yes, I'm 9.5 weeks and I have been having the same thing...also really out of breath which might be related? It's the changes happening in your blood! Just take it easy and try not to do too much...you might not be showing but you're definitely pregnant!

Re: feeling light headed
I was always lightheaded, especially when I would shower! I always needed someone around when I would shower just in case I fainted.. for me it was all normal and anatomical but see what your ob says!

Re: feeling light headed
Changes in pulse and BP w/ pregnancy can do this too.. I had it a bit in the early weeks. Just make sure you stay well hydrated, get iron in your vitamins and eat enough, and rest when u feel lightheaded!

Re: feeling light headed
This happened to me once early in pregnancy. I *believe* it was due to low blood sugar because I ate some cereal and then felt better.
