there's actually a catholic church a block away from our house, so i called them today and the priest is supposed to call me back

Our priest does this a few times a year or whenever asked. He doesn't charge.

We called the Church and asked our priest if he can come by to bless the house. I gave him an envelope with $50 for church donation, but he refused.

Do you pay to do this? I am assuming yes but is it expensive?
Give him a donation. Even though they don't technically "charge" for it, it's nice to give the priest something to thank him for taking the time to come to your house & do the blessing.
