Wildwood NJ - where to stay?
Never been before and I'm nervous about the accommodations there. We'd prefer a condo since it will be a big group, but all suggestions are welcomed! TIA!

Re: Wildwood NJ - where to stay?
LOVE Wildwood! So clean and family friendly! We stayed at the Starlux, GREAT hotel, right across from the beach, and the infamous "Wildwoods" beachballs. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, they do have 2 bedrooms. A lot of the condos don't have pools I found, and were off the beaten path, and that was important to me. You can see a lot of pics on Tripadvisor. It's one of the few that are actually renovated with new furnishings. MANY places still have the decor from 50 years ago lol.
Wildwood Crest has a lot of condos, but then you are further away from the "action". Some people like that, I don't.
If you stay at a Morey's Piers resort (which Starlux is, and a few others, check their site), you get heavily discounted passes to the piers which includes the rides and waterparks. We are going again this Summer and will pay $80 per person for 5 days of attractions at the piers, vs. like $225 if we weren't staying at a Morey's resort. My kids love rides and the waterparks though, so it just depends on what you want.
Check out Duffer's...cute place with fun mini golf. Also the Dugout, really cute doo-wop themed ice cream place with all kinds of nostalgia.

Definitely the Pan American! It's actually in Wildwood Crest but it's still very close (walking distance) to lots of stuff. We used to rent the penthouse there with 2 other families. 3 enormous bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and the whole roof patio with hot tub and BBQ. The best!

I like Wildwood Crest and recommend the Aztec and/or Safari -- but my favorite is the Gondolier. Same family owns all three. You can get a bunch of rooms to be all together.
Basic motel, but I really like it.
